Suazo Represents Honduras at CADICA Championships

The junior ran the 110-meter hurdles, as well as a leg of the national team's 4x100 relay
MANAGUA, Nicaragua (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University men's track and field student-athlete Ivan Suazo (Brooklyn, N.Y.-Westland) competed as a member of the Honduran National Team at the Central American Isthmus Athletic Confederation (CADICA) Championships Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23 in Managua, Nicaragua. Suazo represented Honduras competing in the 110-meter hurdles as well as running a leg of the national team's 4x100-meter relay.
On Saturday, Suazo and his teammates earned a fourth-place finish in the 4x100 relay, crossing the finish line with a time of 41.82. In his individual performance Sunday, the Brooklyn, N.Y. native finished fourth in the 110 hurdles, running to a time of 14.60.
