YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University look for finish the season strong at home against Kent State University for Senior Night, March 15. The action is slated to start at 6 p.m. inside the Convo.

LAST TIME OUT:  The Eagles fell short against Western Michigan University, March 10, 194.750-193.950. 
    Junior Emili Dobronics placed first on beam with a score of 9.800, and topped the all-around competition, earning 39.225 on the day. Dobronics also earned a new career-high on bars, hitting a 9.825. 

EMU VS. KSU IN RECENT HISTORY: The Eagles have not had great success against the Golden Flashes in the last 10 years, going 3-8 in that time. EMU fell to KSU at the George Washington Quad this season, 195.550-194.225, despite earning its first 9.9's of the season. Junior Emili Dobronics tied her personal-best with her score, while sophomore Cortney Bezolds 9.9 was a new career-high and earned her MAC Specialist of the Week honors.  
    In the 2018 season, the Green and White defeated Kent State on the road, 194.775-193.925, led by a pair of 9.850's from then-freshman Jada Rondeau on bars, and then-junior Megan Hultrgen on beam. Then-sophomore Dobronics also earned a her career-high on floor, hitting a 9.9. 
ALL-AROUND ACROBAT: Junior Emili Dobronics has finished first in all-around competition at five meets so far this season, including Sunday, March 10 against Western. Dobronics reached a new personal-best versus WMU at home, earning 39.250, Feb. 8. The Orland Park, Ill. native came close to tying her new best against the Broncos, March 10, when she finished with 39.225 to take home first. 

MODEL OF CONSISTENCY: Senior Megan Hultgren has been the most consistent Eagle on the balance beam this season and holds the highest total score of the season on the apparatus with 97.15. Hultgren hit a new personal-best this season at Bowling Green State University, Jan. 31, with a 9.875, where she tied for first with freshman Caitlin Satler. Those scores also serve as highs on the season for the Green and White.  

LOOKING AHEAD: Eastern Michigan will head to DeKalb, Ill. for the Mid-American Conference Championship, Saturday, March 23, and is set to start at 2 p.m.
