Tennis Readies for Weekend Competition at Eastern Illinois

The Eagles are in action for the second time this fall
CHARLESTON, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team is back on the courts this week, Friday-Saturday, Oct. 11-12, as part of the Eastern Illinois Panther Invite.
The squad's first action since taking part in the Purdue Invite, Sept. 20-22, the Eagles look to build off a four-win performance in this, their second outing of the fall.
Veterans Natalia Regalado (Alicante, Spain-IES Figueras Pacheco) and Marie Mayerova (Krmelin, Czech Republic) each started the 2019 campaign on a good note, as both picked up wins in West Lafayette. The two continue to lead a fresh-faced convocation of Eagles that includes five newcomers.
Tournament action is set to begin Friday morning, Oct. 11, and will run through Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12.
