Rowing Opens Season at Head of the Grand

The Eagles will compete in six races

EAST LANSING, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team begins their 2019-20 season at the Head of the Grand, hosted by Michigan State, Oct. 5 at Grand River.

Eastern returns to the Head of the Grand for the first time since Oct. 15, 2017, where the team complied three top-three finishes in 8+ events.

The Eagles will begin the day at 12:45 p.m., racing in the V4+, followed by the 2V4+ and 3V4+ races at 1 p.m. and 1:10 p.m. In the first novice action of the afternoon, EMU will race two boats in the N8+ at 1:30 p.m. To finish the day, Eastern will race in the V8+, 2V8+, and 3V8+ beginning at 2:10 p.m.
