Stevenson, Sripatrprasite Continue to Lead EMU in Florida

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – Senior Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford) and junior Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) continue to led the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team at the 42nd Annual Pat Bradley Invitational, Oct. 21. Stevenson and Sripatrprasite are tied for 30th-place with a four-over 148, as the team is tied with UTRGV and Jacksonville with a 600 on the par-72 Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
Florida Atlantic holds a slim one-stroke lead over the field with a 575, while FAU's Justine Fournand leads the individual leaderboard with a nine-under 135.
Stevenson shaved two shots off her opening round with a 73 on Monday for a 36-hole total of 148 (75-73). Sripatrprasite finished the round with a 76 for a cumulative 148. Sophomore Green Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School) is tied for 57th for 152 (78-74). Seniors Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne) and Katelin Lawson (LaSalle, Ontario- Ridge Community-Tampa) rounded out the lineup with a 154 (77-77) and a 155 (76-79), respectively.
The tournament concludes Tuesday, Oct. 22, with 18 holes starting at 8:30 a.m. Live stats will be available via BirdieFire.com.
EMU also has two individuals in action at the Chippewa Invitational at Birmingham Country Club. Sophomore Abby Livingston (Novi, Mich.-Novi) is tied for 19th with an opening round 78, while Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit) shot a 79 for 27th.
The tournament wraps up Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. on the par 72, 5,966-yard layout.
