Ike Spearman Receives Invite to Minnesota Vikings Mini-Camp

The former EMU linebacker started 11 games last year
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (EMUEagles.com) - Former Eastern Michigan University linebacker Ike Spearman (Saint John, Ind.-Lake Central) has been invited to the Minnesota Vikings rookie mini-camp.
The Saint John, Ind. native is one of four EMU players headed to a mini-camp this spring joining Sergio Bailey II (San Diego, Calif.-Olympian-Grossmont College) in Tampa Bay, Juan Giraldo (Gilbert, Ariz.-Mesquite-Mesa C.C.) with Arizona, and Brogan Roback (Maumee, Ohio-Toledo St. John's Jesuit) in Baltimore.
Spearman started 11 games last season at middle linebacker position. The sixth-year player recorded at least three tackles in all but two games, including turning in a nine stop performance against Army West Point, Oct. 14, while adding eight tackles at Kentucky, Sept. 30. Spearman also finished with 4.5 tackles-for-loss, including posting three of them against MAC opponents, as well as adding a strip sack against Northern Illinois, Oct. 26.
