Shereda Qualifies for 2018 NCAA Championships

This marks the first time since 2013 Eastern has sent a diver to the NCAAs
COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Senior Alli Shereda (Fraser, Mich.-Fraser) of the Eastern Michigan University women's diving team qualified for the 2018 NCAA Championships Friday, March 9, at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships.
Shereda punched her ticket to the NCAA's as her final score of 572.15 on the 3-meter dive was good enough for seventh place. The Fraser, Mich. native is the first EMU diver to qualify for the NCAA Championships since Kelly Hendricks and Danielle Hulvey did so in 2013.
Eastern had two more divers place in the top-30 as senior Emily Tubbs (Monroe, Mich.-Monroe) and sophomore Brielle Johnston (Ottawa, Ontario-Catholique Franco-Quest) picked up 27th and 28th place, respectively.
Now, the Green and White turns its focus to the NCAA Championships where Delaney Duncan and Shereda will represent Eastern Michigan, March 15-18, in Columbus, Ohio.
