YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team kicked off its spring practice schedule Monday, March 5, on the gray turf of "The Factory". The Eagles worked on individual development and position drills before wrapping up with the offense and defense going head-to-head to end the day.
During the spring practice period, the Eagles will be the field each three times per week. Practices are typically open but please note that times are subject to change. Depending on the weather, practices will take place inside Rynearson Stadium or the Multi-Purpose Indoor Practice Facility.
This Friday, March 9, Creighton and his staff will also host a spring coaching chalk talk. Cost to attend is $10 and includes dinner and a gift from the EMU coaching staff. Participants will have the opportunity to watch the Eagles go through a spring practice while also learning from the EMU staff. Rolling check-in will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Indoor Practice Facility with practice starting at 3 p.m. Following practice the visiting coaches will move to the EMU Convocation Center for dinner and an optional strength and conditioning presentation. Coach Creighton will kick-off the event at 5:45 p.m. and speak on building a program. The night will be concluded with offense, defense, and special teams chalk talks.

The Spring Game will be a capper for the practice period as Head Coach Chris Creighton and his staff will put on a full-squad scrimmage for Eagle fans on the gray turf inside "The Factory." Details, events, and promotions surrounding the game are forthcoming.
