EMU Football to Hold High School Coaching Chalk Talk

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Head Football Coach Chris Creighton and his staff will host a spring coaching chalk talk, in conjunction with the Eagles' Friday, March 9, spring practice. Depending on the weather, practice will take place either in Rynearson Stadium or in the Multi-Purpose Indoor Facility. Cost to attend is $10 and includes dinner and a gift from the EMU coaching staff.
Coach Creighton and his staff will work together to host high school coaches from the state of Michigan and surrounding areas for the event. Participants will have the opportunity to watch the Eagles go though one spring practice while also learning from the EMU staff.
Rolling check-in will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Indoor Practice Facility with practice starting at 3 p.m. Following practice the visiting coaches will move to the EMU Convocation Center for dinner and an optional strength and conditioning presentation. Coach Creighton will kick-off the event at 5:45 p.m. and speak on building a program. The night will be concluded with offense, defense, and special teams chalk talks.
