EMU students must show a valid student ID when parking in Rynearson Stadium Lots

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the return of FREE PARKING for EMU students for home football games at Rynearson Stadium during the 2017 campaign.  The Eagles host Charlotte Friday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at "The Factory" as a part of First Four New Student Orientation Weekend.

"Having our students at games is an extremely important part of the gameday atmosphere ," said EMU Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee.  "We are always looking for ways to get more of them to our football games, so we went to work to make that happen. We hope our students take advantage of the opportunity to cheer on our team this fall at The Factory."

Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.  One individual per vehicle has to present a valid EMU student ID before entering the lot. To access Rynearson Stadium lot 5 without a charge, cars should enter from the north near the corner of Hewitt Road and Huron River Drive.

Parking lots will open three hours prior to kickoff of each home football game (exception - the homecoming game will open five hours prior). Carpooling is encouraged, since there is limited space in the lot.  Tailgating is also permitted, or students can join the pregame festivities in The Quad Fan Zone.

As always, admission to the game is FREE for EMU students with a valid ID.

Single game and season tickets are available for purchase at EMUEagles.com/tickets, by calling 734.487.3669 or by visiting the EMU Ticket Office daily between 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
