Junior Jordann McDermitt (Davison, Mich. - Davison) and senior Alsu Bogdanova (Kazan, Russia - Lyceum #83) will both be competing against the top distance runners in the nation, with McDermitt running in the 10000m and Bogdanova in the 5000m.
Last season, both Bogdanova and McDermitt qualified to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, each earning a spot in the 5000m run. The duo gained valuable experience, with McDermitt finishing 17th in 16:31.77, while Bogdanova was two spots behind her in 19th with a time of 16:38.80.
