The clinic will take place Saturday, May 20 at Ford Lake

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's rowing team will host a Rowing Development Clinic, Saturday, June 17th at the EMU Boathouse on Ford Lake. Any and all female high school athletes, as well as collegiate women who still maintain eligibility, are welcome to attend.

The clinic will start with check-in at 11:30 a.m. at the EMU Boathouse located at 10049 Textile Road in Ypsilanti, Mich. It will run from noon to 4 p.m. and will include both land and water training, as well as video review to be able to further improve upon the rowing stroke.

Athletes new to the sport of rowing will be given a chance to explore the sport first hand at EMU, including using the training facilities and working with the Division-I coaching staff.  It will also give veteran rowers and coxswains the opportunity to fine-tune their skills and get instruction and a different view point from collegiate coaches.

If you are interested, please RSVP as soon as possible, as spots are limited. The link to register is HERE. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Assistant Coach Julie Quoss at jquoss@emich.edu or by calling 734.487.2234.
