Join EMU Softball for its 2016 Diamond Dinner

The inaugural event is scheduled for Friday, April 22, at the Holiday Inn
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University softball team is set to host the inauguaral Diamond Dinner, April 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn located at 3600 Plymouth Rd. Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
"I am very excited to begin what I hope will become a yearly tradition for our program," Head Coach Melissa Gentile said. "The Diamond Dinner will be a great chance for alumni, fans, and supporters to reconnect with our program. It should be a fun night out with dinner, drinks, a silent auction, and some insightful words from our seniors."
The Diamond Dinner will double as the team's banquet and will take place following the series opener versus Mid-American Conference West Division foe, Northern Illinois. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. and feature a season overview and the presentation of team awards, as well as speeches by the 2016 senior class. In addition to dinner and drinks, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a silent auction as well as meet the 2016 Eagles.
Individual tickets for the event start at $50. Tickets previously purchased are still valid. To register, please visit this link or call Becky Heckart at 734.487.8684. The deadline to register is April 15th.
