EMU Athletic Teams Participate in Victors Day in Ann Arbor

The EMU women’s golf, soccer, tennis and wrestling teams spent time with more than 700 young people at the 2015 Victors Day fundraising event

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's golf, soccer, tennis and wrestling teams as well as coaches volunteered their time at the 10th annual Victors Day event held at the University of Michigan, March 27. Victors Day is a fundraising event for the T. Wall Foundation, which teaches special needs children and children who have spent much of their time in the hospital how to play sports.

The 2015 Victors Day event brought the University of Michigan student-athletes, as well as EMU student-athletes and coaches together with over 700 disabled children from all over Washtenaw County. The participants engaged in various sport activities including a putting course by the women's golf team, playing soccer with the women's soccer team, an arm wrestling booth set up by the Eastern wrestling team and a tennis court set up by the EMU tennis team.
