Eagles Head to Lincoln for a Pair of Non-Conference Duals

Eastern will take on Drake and Nebraska
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University's women's tennis team will travel to Lincoln, Neb. this weekend, Feb. 7-8, for a pair of non-conference dual matches. The Green and White will take on Drake University Saturday, Feb. 7, before taking on the University of Nebraska Sunday, Feb. 8. Both matches are scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
It will be the third time that the Eagles and Bulldogs will square off on Saturday. Eastern has owned the series, winning both matches, with the last one coming during the 2003 campaign, when EMU defeated Drake, 7-0.
Eastern is 0-8 versus Nebraska after dropping a dual match against the Cornhuskers last year, Feb. 14, 2014. The Eagles fell, 5-2, with Maria Paula Ribero and Diana Davitaia each coming away with victories over the Big Ten Conference opponent.
