YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University's women's tennis team will head west to continue the 2014-15 slate this weekend, Sept. 26-28, when it takes part in the 2014 Wildcat Invitational at Northwestern University. The invite will take place at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center in Evanston, Ill.
In addition to the Eagles, the field includes student-athletes from DePaul, Florida International, Kentucky, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Illinois-Chicago and Western Michigan.
Match play is set to begin at 9 a.m. (CT) each day of the tournament. The matches will take place outdoors at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center, and admission is free.
