Site to provide comprehensive information for fans when attending football games

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics announced Thursday, July 24, the official unveiling of EMUGameDay.com, web headquarters for the 2014 Eagles football campaign. The site was created through a partnership with SIDEARM Sports, one of the top website providers for college athletics.
Based on feedback, EMU Athletics focused heavily in the off-season to refine its fan experience and gameday atmosphere. This site, which can be easily accessed at EMUGameDay.com, is a consolidated effort to provide all pertinent information related to each Eastern Michigan football game this fall. In particular, it will focus on presenting information related to each of the Eagles' five home games at Rynearson Stadium this season.
"We are thrilled about expanding our partnership with SIDEARM Sports to launch a dedicated gameday website," EMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Heather Lyke said. "The new website will contain all the necessary up to date information about coming to football games at The Factory. Our goal is to provide the best football game day experience for our fans and these efforts will further help in accomplishing that task."
"We are excited to add a gameday website to our existing digital platform with Eastern Michigan Athletics, we hope fans will enjoy this new experience surrounding gameday at EMU," said Dave Meluni, Vice President for Sales/Business Development at SIDEARM Sports.
In addition to weekly information related to each gridiron battle including kickoff time, broadcasting, tickets, weather and special events, the site will also provide answers to many questions that visitors to Ypsilanti may have when attending EMU home football contests.
The website also features a responsive design, allowing automatic detection of screen size that adjusts for desktop, tablet or mobile use for easier viewing.
Fans can catch Head Coach Chris Creighton and the rest of the Eagles kick off the 2014 season at home against Morgan State, Aug. 30. Single game and season tickets are now on sale online at EMUEagles.com, by calling 734.487.2282 or by visiting the EMU Ticket Office daily between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Ticket prices start at just $12 for adults and $5 for youth 12-and-under.
