Eagles Make One Final Stop Before MAC Championships

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's women's track and field team has just one week before the start of the 2014 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, May 15-17 in Athens, Ohio. For a final bout before facing their conference foes, the Eagles will make the short trip to Toldeo, Ohio Friday, May 9, for the Toledo Invitational, hosted by MAC foe the University of Toledo.
The Toledo Invitational will be held at the outdoor track located at Fetterman Stadium and will begin with the field events at 9 a.m., followed by the start of track events at noon. The meet will be one of the final opportunities for the Green and White to earn qualifying marks for not only the 2014 MAC Championships, but also the NCAA East Regional, May 29-31.
