With the loss, the Eagles fall to 12-32 overall on the season and 3-13 in MAC play, while BGSU improves to 21-28-1 overall and 7-11 in conference contests.
Sophomore Myranda Barnes tallied two hits on the afternoon for the Green and White, while senior Amanda Stanton extended her hitting streak to seven games and knocked in one RBI. Senior Lauren Wells (1-11) suffered the loss in the circle, pitching 2.1 innings, while junior Lindsay Rich pitched 3.2 in relief, allowing just one hit.

A leadoff walk in the bottom of the second inning turned into a run for Bowling Green when Searle lined a single to left center, scoring pinch runner Chloe Giordano to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead over EMU.
Back-to-back singles in the bottom of the third inning extended the BGSU lead to 2-0, but the Eagles answered back in the top of the fourth inning when Barnes singled to third base to lead off the inning. Barnes moved into scoring position when Taylor Wagner reached on a Falcon miscue. Michelle Kriegshauser's bunt allowed a quick Barnes to cross home and bring the Eagles within one of Bowling Green.
In the bottom half of the inning, the Falcons used a second leadoff walk and a single through the right side of the field to move runners into scoring position with one out on the board for Raker. Raker hit a deep sacrifice fly to left field, scoring Haley Schrock from third base.
The Eagles chipped away at the BGSU lead in the top of the sixth inning when Kriegshauser reached on a Falcon blunder and Stanton singled to deep center field, plating Kriegshauser. With one out on the scoreboard, Jenn Lucas singled through the left side of the field, forcing a Bowling Green pitching change. Coming on in relief, Dillow fanned the next two batters of the inning before EMU was able to push any further runs across the plate.
