Women's Track and Field Heads to North Carolina to Kick Off Outdoor Campaign

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's women's track and field team will head to Raleigh, N.C. for its first taste of outdoor competition in the 2013-14 season, where the Eagles will take part in the 2014 Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State University, March 28-29.
Coming off a third-place finish at the 2014 Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, the squad will return to action after nearly a month-long break to resume competition in the outdoor portion of the 2013-14 season.
The meet will begin with the 3000m steeplechase at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 28, and events will run until 10:35 p.m. when the first day of the meet will close following Section 1 of the 10,000m run. Competition will resume Saturday, March 29, at 9:30 a.m. with the second section of the 10,000m run, and the final event will be the 4x400m relay at 4:45 p.m. Information regarding the meet will be available through gopack.com, and live results can be found at flashresults.com.
