MAC Basketball Tournament Tickets Now on Sale

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio will serve as the site to crown the 2014 Mid-American Conference's men's and women's basketball champions as the FirstEnergy MAC Basketball Tournament makes its return to "The Q" March 12-15.
Tickets are available through the EMU Ticket Office, for all tournament games held at Quicken Loans Arena in which EMU participates, at the following prices: women's basketball: $10 and men's basketball: $34. EMU students can purchase women's tournament tickets for $5 or men's tournament tickets for $10 with a valid student ID. Ticket order reservations may be placed online at EMUTix.com, calling 734.487.2282 or purchased at the EMU table in the main ticket area inside the northeast entrance at Quicken Loans Arena. Pre-ordered tickets will require a valid photo ID for pick-up. Buying tickets for the men's games in advance is the only way to guarantee a spot in the Eastern Michigan fan section.
The 5-12 seeds will play first round games on campus sites with the winners advancing to face each other in the second round at Quicken Loans Arena. The second-round winners will advance to the quarterfinal games to play the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds with those winners advancing to the semifinal games to play the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds. The seeding is based on conference winning percentage, regardless of division.
There have been hotel accommodations made for all Eagle fans. The official MAC Tournament fan hotel is the Marriott Cleveland Downtown at Key Center. There is a fan and alumni block available at the Marriott Key Center for the discounted rate of $135 per night.
