Still Time to Purchase The MAC Pack for EMU Hoops

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Fans still have the opportunity to purchase the "MAC Pack," following the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team's signature victory over the University of Michigan. The partial season ticket package, which includes a ticket to every home regular season game against a Mid-American Conference institution, remains on sale for EMU men's basketball contests.

For the nine games, Green level reserved seats are priced at $81, while reserved tickets in the White level can be purchased for $67.50. The first MAC game at the Convocation Center is Wednesday, Jan. 7, against the Cardinals of Ball State University. The MAC Pack concludes with Eastern's regular season finale versus the University of Toledo, Mach 6, in a Friday night matchup scheduled for 7 p.m.

Those who order the MAC Pack must pick up the ticket package at the Convocation Center Ticket Office between now and Jan. 7. However, the ticket office will be closed from Dec. 24 until Jan. 4, except for basketball game days, while the campus is on holiday break. The ticket office is opened Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If time permits, tickets could be sent through the mail.

Head Coach Rob Murphy's squad has gotten off to a strong start to the 2014-15 season with a 8-1 record that includes a 45-42 victory over Michigan, Dec. 9, defeating its Washtenaw County rival for the first time since 1997. The Green and White remain on the road, traveling to East Lansing, Mich. to battle the Spartans of Michigan State University, Dec. 17. The contest between the Eagles and MSU will tip off at 9 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network as well as the airwaves of 89.1 FM WEMU.
