CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUGameDay.com) -- The Eastern Michigan-Toledo football game, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 28, will kickoff at 1 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN3, the Mid-American Conference office announced today, Nov. 19. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game at Rynearson Stadium.
The game is Senior Day with 18 EMU players to be honored in pre-game ceremonies marking their final performances at The Factory. Members of the Class of 2014 include: Tyler Allen (Lansing, Mich.-Eastern), Campbell Allison (Kagawong, Ontario-Ogdensburg Free Academy), Rob Bolden (Orchard Lake, Mich.-Orchard Lake St. Mary's-Penn State-Louisiana State), Ryan Brumfield (Chester Springs, Pa.-Owen J. Robert), Willie Creear (Seattle, Wash.-Lindbergh-Butte JC), Pudge Cotton (Maywood, Ill.-Walther Lutheran), Owen Dubiel (East Jackson, Mich.-East Jackson), Jordan Erbes (Kettering, Ohio-Fairmont), David Gibson (Cleveland, Ohio-Solon), Lincoln Hansen (Omaha, Neb.-Millard North), Bronson Hill (Grand Rapids, Mich.-Catholic Central), Kevin Johnson (McKeesport, Pa.-McKeesport), Oliver Kathalay (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada-Avondale (Ga.)), Travis Linser (Glendale, Ariz.-Phoenix Northwest Christian-Phoenix College), Robert McFadden (Flint, Mich.-Carman-Ainsworth), Garrett Parker (Tinley Park, Ill.-Andrew), Tyreese Russell (Chicago, Ill.-Walther Lutheran) and Gary White Jr. (Toledo, Ohio-Southeast Raleigh, N.C.-Grossmont College).
EMU is also offering local youth football players a full day of activities. Youth football teams along with coaches and parents will be given free admission to the Eagles' home game against the Rockets when they wear their jerseys to the contest. Players wearing a jersey will also be given the chance to go on the field during pre-game, where they will form a fan tunnel to welcome the Eagles to the field. Following the game, the teams will be given a mini football and have the opportunity to play catch on the Gray FieldTurf at "The Factory."
In order to participate in the pre-game tunnel and receive the mini footballs, interested groups must pre-register their team by calling EMU Athletics Marketing at 734.487.2696 or by completing this form.
Teams are also invited to join in on the fun at the Turn It Up Turn It Green Pep Rally inside the Convocation Center beginning two and a half hours prior to kickoff.
