YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUGameDay.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team returns to "The Factory" turf for its second consecutive home contest Saturday, Nov. 1, against Central Michigan University. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The contest against the Chippewas is also Band Day at Rynearson Stadium, with 19 high school bands in attendance, performing as one during a special halftime concert. The schools scheduled to participate include: Bedford High School, Blissfield High School, Crestwood High School, Garden City High School, Hartland High School, Litchfield High School, Monroe High School, Monroe Jefferson High School, Morenci High School, North Central High School, Ovid-Elsie High School, Powers Catholic High School, Riverview Community High School, Trenton High School, Vassar High School, Whiteford High School, Whitmore Lake High School, Woodhaven High School and Ypsilanti Community High School.
In total, more than 1,200 high school student-musicians will be in attendance and join the EMU Marching Band for a special mass band halftime performance of Karaoke Classics: "Sweet Caroline" and "Don't Stop Believin'" It's going to be one big Band Day Karaoke Machine!
Prior to the game the participating bands will compete in a color guard competition in EMU's Indoor Practice Facility as well as complete a parade around the track one hour prior to kickoff.
Powers Catholic has been selected to give a special post game performance of their field show immediately following the game.
The contest is also youth day with tickets having been distributed to local youth organizations. For youth groups still looking to attend the game, please contact the Athletic Marketing Office at 734.487.1050 for more details.
EMU Athletics reminds fans attending the game that each non-VIP parking lot has a $5 charge per vehicle and a $20 charge per motorhome or vehicle that takes up two-or-more spaces. Lots are open with the charge for parking beginning three hours before kickoff. Please have cash ready (no credit cards will be accepted in the parking lots).
Fans are encouraged to show up early to catch the Turn It Up, Turn It Green event which will be held at the Convocation Center, two and a half hours prior to kickoff. For the 1 p.m. kickoff start, seating inside the Convocation Center will open at 10:30 a.m. When entering the Convocation Center, the roar of the EMU Marching Band will fill the arena, while everyone in attendance will receive a free promotional item. In addition, all in attendance will have the chance to see the live Bald Eagle in person.
Single-game tickets are on sale online at EMUGameDay.com, by calling 734.487.2282 or by visiting the EMU Ticket Office daily between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Ticket prices start at just $12 for adults and $5 for youth 12-and-under.

Exit off US-23 via Exit 37A and follow Washtenaw Ave. to Golfside Rd. Turn left on Golfside Rd. and go down one light and take a right on to Clark Rd. Follow it to the next light and turn right on Hewitt Rd. Parking lots 5, 6 and 7 will be on the right side.

Off of I-94, take US-23 north to Exit 37A and follow Washtenaw Ave. to Golfside Rd. Turn left on Golfside Rd and go down one light and take a right on to Clark Rd. Follow it to the next light and turn right on Hewitt Rd. Parking lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 will be on the rightside.
Fans visiting from the south...
Take US-23 north to I-94 East towards Detroit. Exit at Michigan Ave. (Exit 181) Turn left on Michigan Ave. and at the first light turn left on to Hewitt Rd. Follow Hewitt Rd. to parking lots A, B, C, D, 2 and 3.
Fans visiting from the east...
Take I-94 West and exit at Michigan Ave. (Exit 181B). Follow the ramp onto Michigan Ave. and at the first light turn left on to Hewitt Rd. Follow Hewitt Rd. to parking lots A, B, C, D, 2 and 3.
