The flat green metallic helmets feature a diamond plate Block E logo
AKRON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team unveiled a new helmet design during the Akron game, Oct. 4. The shells are a custom flat forest green metallic color, featuring a chrome diamond plate Block E logo on the side. The redesigned helmet replaces last year's white version that featured the outline of the state of Michigan in gray.
This will be the second style of helmet Eastern has worn this year. The Eagles wore the traditional green helmet with a white Block E on both sides throughout the first four games of the season.
