Men's and women's swimming and diving open up 2014 in the Sunshine State
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head for warmer climates when they travel to Miami, Fla. for the Florida International University Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 4.
Both teams participated in the FIU Invitational in the 2012-13 season. The men's team took second with 756 points, finishing just behind Texas Christian University. The women's team earned third place after scoring 595 points, following FIU and TCU, respectively.
The squads will return to their home in Jones Natatorium Saturday, Jan. 18 when they will take on Michigan State University and Mid-American Conference foe University at Buffalo.
