Eastern Michigan All-Access Returns to Fox Sports Detroit

The behind-the-scenes series of EMU Athletics will air five shows beginning Aug. 29

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan All-Access will return for its second season on Fox Sports Detroit, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics and regional television station jointly announced Monday, Aug. 26. Five shows will comprise the series aired throughout the state, featuring behind-the-scenes looks at EMU Athletics.
Each show will be 30 minutes in length with the first show set to hit the airwaves Thursday, Aug. 29, at 5:30 p.m. The season premiere will feature an interview with EMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Heather Lyke as well as a preview of the upcoming EMU football season.
"We are fortunate to have formed a great partnership with Fox Sports Detroit and have entered into a second year of coverage of our Department of Athletics," said Lyke. "Based on the positive feedback from last year's shows, we are thankful for their continued creative and professional productions that highlight the stories about our student-athletes' competitive and academic successes at Eastern Michigan."
"We are proud to continue our partnership with Eastern Michigan University for a second straight year," said Greg Hammaren, senior vice president/general manager, FOX Sports Detroit. "Our team is committed to covering the finest in collegiate athletics and value the rich history of EMU athletics, which you will get to see showcased through the success stories of student-athletes on the field and in the classroom."
There will be at least two shows each focusing on football and basketball throughout the series, featuring game highlights and interviews with EMU student-athletes and coaches. Each episode will be aired at least 15 times on Fox Sports Detroit. The shows will also be available for on-demand viewing at EMUEagles.com.
