Pedro is one of two team captains for Head Soccer Coach Scott Hall's 2013 squad
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- With the regular season just around the corner, Eastern Michigan University soccer senior Megan Pedro (Fort Wayne, Ind. -Canterbury) stopped by after a grueling two-hour practice for an Eagle All-Access segment: "Getting to Know an Eagle." The team co-captain shares a variety of information about herself from why she decided to come to EMU to her three favorite holidays.
Last season, Pedro appeared in 10 matches, starting eight of them. The EMU midfielder recorded an assist in a 3-0 victory over the University of Toledo, Sept. 23, 2012. As a senior and team captain this year, the Fort Wayne, Ind. native looks to provide leadership to the veteran squad of Eagles.
The Green and White lift the lid on the 2013 campaign Friday, Aug. 23, with a non-conference match against the University of Detroit Mercy. The battle on the pitch begins at 5 p.m. at Scicluna Field.
