Eastern Michigan University gymnast Khadijah Hudson (Hebron, Ky. - Conner) finished her freshman campaign on a high note, recording a 9.800 on the floor exercise at the NCAA Regional Championships. Hudson competed in the Tuscaloosa regional, April 6, on the campus of the University of Alabama.

The second team All-MAC selection finished in 22nd place after receiving her mark of 9.800 from the judges. Hudson was the first EMU gymnast to compete in regional competition since 2011 as well as the first freshman to qualify since the 2010 season.

Hudon and the rest of the EMU gymnastics team's season comes to an end as the Eagles finish with a record 6-15, but see an increase in team scores compared to a season ago.
