COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's swimming and diving team completed its action at the Ohio State University Winter Invitational Sunday, Feb. 10. Eastern saw multiple top-five finishes in the competitive field on Sunday.
Jessica Cavaiani took fourth in the 100-breaststroke with a 1:06.16, while Adele Schultz took third in the 400-individual medley, touching the wall in 4:36.14. Sarah Brechenser took fourth in the 400-individual with a 4:45.08. Schultz also placed second in the 200-butterfly with a 2:06.87. Pauline Vigneron followed Schultz with a 2:10.52, good for third. Brechenser also saw a second in the 1,650-freestyle, completing the distance in 17:52.94.
The Eagles do not hit the water again until Feb. 28-March 2, when they compete at the 2013 Mid-American Conference Championships in Buffalo, N.Y.
