Eagles Stay at Home for Second Conference Match-up

Women's swimming and diving takes on Akron

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's women's swimming and diving team will go head-to-head against Mid-American Conference foe, the University of Akron, Saturday, Nov. 2.
After downing Bowling Green State University, 166-126, last weekend on Oct. 26, the Green and White will look to extend its conference winning streak to seven with a Saturday matchup against the Zips, a team that EMU has never dropped a dual match to in the 16 years that the two have met.
In the last meeting between the two squads, the Eagles topped their Buckeye State opponent, 185-115, on Jan. 21, 2012. Overall, Eastern Michigan holds a commanding 12-0 record against Akron.
