YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Building off the success of Eagle All-Access through spring 2012, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics has continued the growth of the broadband channel with the announcement of the school's 2012-13 broadcast schedule Monday, Aug. 27. The productions are a combined effort between the EMU Athletic Media Relations Office, WEMU (89.1 FM) and SIDEARM Sports.

A total of 75 events are currently scheduled in 2012-13, with further dates still being finalized for broadcast on All-Access. During the 2011-12 campaign, EMU streamed 63 events live and created additional 60 on-demand videos.

The football team will have five of its six home games streamed via Eagle All-Access, beginning with the team's season opener versus Illinois State University Saturday, Sept. 8. Other action on the gridiron will include the Oct. 6 game versus Kent State, the Oct. 13 tilt against Toledo, the Nov. 10 showdown against Central Michigan and the home finale versus Northern Illinois, Nov. 23.

EMU's non-conference affair against Army, Oct. 20, will not be video streamed due to contractual issues with ESPN.

Veteran Detroit-area broadcaster Matt Shepard leads the football broadcast team for the 12th year. He will be joined by analyst Herman Moore and engineer Ben Fleming. Locally, the audio broadcast will again air on WEMU (89.1 FM) in Ypsilanti.

Chad Bush returns as the primary voice of the Eagles on the All-Access broadcasts. Greg Steiner and a cavalcade of special guests will provide color commentary for the remainder of the games.

Five of the Eagles' home volleyball matches will air this season beginning with the home opener against Cleveland State, Aug. 28. Other featured matches will include Western Michigan, Sept. 21, Bowling Green, Oct. 12, Kent State, Nov. 3, and Ball State, Nov. 9.

Additionally, Eagle All-Access will video stream every home men's and women's basketball game this winter. A total of 37 contests (17 women's; 20 men's) will grace the small screen with the complete release of broadcast dates to coincide with the release of the complete basketball schedules in the coming days.

In the spring, All-Access shifts to audio-only in its coverage of EMU baseball and softball. Currently, a minimum of 20 contests are slated to be broadcast with exact dates to follow later this winter.

Check EMUEagles.com for further updates as additional games may be added as the season progresses.
