Eagles now prepare for home game Monday, March 5, in first-round of the FirstEnergy MAC Tournament
TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — A offensive-minded University of Toledo team spoiled the regular-season finale for the Eastern Michigan University as the host squad posted a 76-51 win over the Eagles here Saturday, March 3, in a Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball West Division game played in Savage Arena.
The Rockets connected on 24-of-52 field-goal attempts for 46.2 percent, made 19-of-26 free throws for 73.1 percent and won the battle of the boards, 41-37, on the way to the victory.

The Rockets boosted their lead to nine, 25-16, but the Eagles responded with six unanswered points, the last on a three from Green, to cut the deficit to three, 25-22, with 5:28 left.
Toledo's offense came back to take a 10-point lead, 35-25, at the half.
