Women's Tennis Falls to No. 29 Ranked Nebraska

Eagles shut out by nationally ranked Cornhuskers

LINCOLN, Neb.  (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team ran into the 29th ranked University of Nebraska Cornhuskers here Saturday, Feb. 4, indoors in the University of Nebraska Tennis Center and the Eagles dropped a 7-0 decision.

“Nebraska has a very good team this year,” EMU Head Coach Ryan Ray said. “We put up a good fight to the end, but we were just outmatched by the Huskers.  It was a good challenge for us, now we can focus on getting healthy and ready for IPFW.”

The loss drops the Eagles to 3-5 on the season.
