Women's Cross Country Heads To Louisville For Pre-Nationals

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Women's Cross Country Team gets back on the course tomorrow, Saturday, October 12, at the 2012 NCAA Pre-Nationals hosted by the University of Louisville.
The Eagles will face a highly competitive field that will include the Eagles as well as five other Mid-American Conference institutions. EMU will have an early preview of the MAC Championships, which take place October 27 at Buffalo. Akron, Central Michigan, Kent State, Miami, Ohio and nationally ranked #15 Toledo will all be at the Pre-Nationals this weekend.
Other notable teams that will run in Louisville this weekend will include seven nationally ranked teams and three regionally ranked teams from outside the MAC.
Nationally the Eagles will face #1 Florida State, #4 Oregon, #6 Georgetown, #8 Michigan, #17 William and Mary, #24 Villanova, and #25 Butler
Other regional members that EMU will see in Louisville include #7 Indiana, #15 Indiana State, and #13 Xavier.
The women will run in the final race of the day at 11:30 A.M at E.P. 'Tom' Sawyer State Park, with the EMU Men's team running at 9:30 A.M.
