The Eagles will compete in Three Rivers, Mich. for the George Dales Invite hosted by Western Michigan University

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's cross country team will continue its tear through the 2011 campaign at the George Dales Invitational hosted by Western Michigan University on Friday, Sept. 9.

Last season, the Eagles posted 22 points in their first place team finish and were led by Courtney Calka's (Livonia, Mich.-Stevenson) 20:48.20, first place Pine View Golf Club course record time.

This week's reigning Mid-American Conference Runner of the Week, Morgan Churchwell (Ada, Mich.-Forest Hills Central), placed third at last year's George Dales after completing the 5,000-meter race in 22:08.3, while Tiffany Kincaid (Clarkston, Mich.-Clarkston) took fifth at the event for the Green and White.

The George Dales Invitational is slated for a 4:30 start at the Pine View Golf Club in Three Rivers, Mich.
