Backspin Weekend Set for Sept. 17-18

Friends of EMU Golf,
As a result of the team's performances over the past few years, our national ranking has consistently improved as we have been a mainstay in the top-100, and we have been knocking on the door of the top-50. These accomplishments have allowed us to begin to attract the attention of some outstanding recruits. In order to secure the best possible players for our program, we must continue to enhance our facilities.
A short game practice area is critical to closing on these top recruits and also to providing our current athletes the training necessary to win the MAC every year and advance in the NCAA Tournament and truly compete on a national level.
We were fortunate to receive a $100,000 gift from a very generous anonymous donor, but in order to fully complete the project, we must raise an additional $30,000. We are pleased to report that we have already raised $5,000 and remain just $25,000 short of our goal. While it will take gifts of all size to achieve our objective, we have developed a great weekend of events and a special recognition program for those who make leadership gifts. A plaque recognizing these leadership gifts will be displayed in our team locker room.
