The Eagles will open the 2011 MAC Tournament with No. 4 seeded Northern Illinois

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The 2011 Mid-American Conference Tournament is upon us after a grueling regular season slate concluded last weekend. The fifth-seeded Eagles will play the fourth-seeded Northern Illinois Huskies, who finished with an identical record, but claimed the tie-breaker over EMU. The match up is set for Wednesday, May 25, at 9 a.m. in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Should the Green and White defeat NIU, they return to the field Thursday, May 26, at 4 p.m. but with a loss would play the loser of No. 8 Bowling Green versus No. 1 Kent State Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
All EMU games will be an Internet-only broadcast available exclusively on Eagle All-Access. Fans can access the live broadcast by logging on to http://www.emueagles.com/showcase. A MAC baseball tournament subscription package is being offered for a discounted rate of $5.95 to allow fans to tune in for every EMU contest.
