COLUMBIA, Mo. (EMUEagles.com) -- After a disappointing showing the last time out at the FAU Spring Break Championships, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf looks to get back on track at the 2011 Columbia Orthopedic Group Mizzou Intercollegiate, April 4-5, at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo.
EMU is one of 16 teams competing next week at Old Hawthorne. The Eagles are joined in the team lineup by 2010 event champion, Nebraska. In addition to the host Tigers and Huskers, Arkansas-Little Rock, Ball State, Belmont, Creighton, Cincinnati, DePaul, IUPUI, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, South Dakota State, Toledo and Xavier round out the field.
The 54-hole event begins at 8 a.m. on Monday morning with a shotgun start. The teams will play 36 holes the first day and conclude competition on Tuesday, April 5, with the final round at 8 a.m. The event is free to the pubic.
