Baird announces fall schedule

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University softball team has set its fall schedule, Head Coach Karen Baird announced. The Eagles will host three invites and will also head to the University of Michigan for a single game.
The first Eagle Invitational will take place Saturday, Sept. 25, at Varsity Field. The Eagles will host the University of Detroit Mercy, Muskegon CC, and Macomb CC. The first game starts at 10 a.m.
On Sept. 26, the Eagles will host Bowling Green, Muskegon CC, Madonna, Oakland CC, Detroit, and Michigan State.
The final invite will take place Oct. 3, where Muskegon CC, Macomb CC, IPFW, Hillsdale, and Northwood will join EMU for the one-day event.
The Green and White will also travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to play the University of Michigan, Oct. 5. The single game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start.
