YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- With the 2010-11 season on the doorstep, we felt it would be a good time to provide our fans with a quick summary of the many ways to follow Eastern Michigan University Athletics in the coming year. We offer so many ways to follow our 21 teams on a daily basis, we thought we'd summarize most of the different ways to keep tabs on the Eagles. We understand that not all of these things are for everybody, so feel free to pick and choose the ways that work best for you!


EMUEagles.com – The official home of Eastern Michigan Athletics. If you are reading this, there's a good chance you are on EMUEagles.com now. With schedules, rosters, press releases, video, and a whole lot more, nobody covers EMU Athletics like EMUEagles.com.

E-Newsletter – The E-Newsletter is a weekly e-mail sent out to subscribers featuring all of the key press releases from the previous week on EMUEagles.com. If you don't take the time to check the website on a daily basis, this is a great way to catch up on the Eagles every Monday. Fans can subscribe at: http://emueagles.com/subscribe.aspx

Facebook – Just search for "Eastern Michigan Athletics". It features the most interesting press releases and provides a great spot for Eagle fans to interact and give input.

Live Audio – If you can't be at the game, EMUEagles.com provides live audio for home AND away football, men's basketball and women's basketball and baseball games through WEMU (89.1 FM) and Eagle All-Access.

Live Video – For a small price, you can watch EMU's home football, men's basketball, women's basketball, and volleyball games via Eagle All-Access at EMUEagles.com/showcase.

Live Stats – Don't want to pay to watch the game? Follow the action through live stats for every football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, women's soccer, swimming and volleyball contest all year. Links are available on the schedule box on the front page of EMUEagles.com or by going to EMUEagles.com/livestats.

Text Messaging – Want to receive a text message with the score as soon as a game is complete? Sign up at http://emueagles.com/member/sms_signup.aspx and pick the sports you want updates on via text messages.

Twitter – EMU's Athletics twitter page is one of the most active in the MAC. If you are on twitter, follow EMU Athletics  for the latest news and notes. YouTube – Again, we've got one of the most active YouTube sites in the MAC. Check out videos of our coaches' press conferences, the latest athletics department commercials, student-athlete videos, and anything else we can think of to put on the site. Radio - All 2010 EMU football games will be broadcast live on WEMU-FM (89.1) in Ypsilanti, Mich. and WCHB-AM (1200) in Detroit, Mich. Matt Shepard will handle the play-by-play duties with Rob Rubick serving as the analyst. Jeff Fulton is the executive producer and the man on statistics. The broadcast will also be carried on the Internet at www.wemu.org

Eagle Nation Insider - EMU Head Football Coach Ron English will be the featured guest on the Monday evening radio show, “Eagle Nation Insider”, from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. each Monday of the football season. The "Insider" hosted by WTKA radio's Ira Weintraub, will broadcast live from WTKA's studio in Ann Arbor. A repeat of the show will air every Wednesday from 3-4 p.m. on WTKA.

Listen to WTKA - Beginning the week of Aug. 30, EMU Head Volleyball Coach Kim Berrington will take to the airwaves of WTKA (1050 AM) every Thursday morning at 8:50 a.m.  EMU Head Football Coach Ron English will appear weekly during the morning show. Date and time are still TBA

Luncheons - Get the inside scoop from Coach Ron English and other EMU coaches by attending the Coach's Luncheon the Monday before every 2010 home football game to learn firsthand about the team, the coaches and players, and a preview of the next opponent. The lunches are scheduled from noon-1 p.m. at various Ypsilanti-area locations. Cost is $15.
