The Eagles and Golden Grizzlies will not play today due to inclement weather
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Today's non-conference softball doubleheader between Eastern Michigan University and Oakland University has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Rochester, Mich. area. No make-up date has been announced.
The Eagles (11-15) and Golden Grizzlies (13-21) were scheduled to play at 3 p.m. today, April 6, but thunderstorms have postponed the meeting between both teams. EMU claims a 10-2 edge all-time against its counterpart and was looking to get back in the win column after losing to Oakland the last time both teams met back in 2008.
The Eagles will be back in action this Friday, April 9, when they take on Miami in a MAC doubleheader on the road. First pitch of game one is slated for 1 p.m.
