EMU travels to Arkansas to take on a 18-team field at Diamante C.C.

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team travels to Hot Springs, Ark. for the 2010 ULAR Women's Golf Classic. The two-day event will take place at the Diamante Country Club, with two rounds Monday, March 29, and the final 18 holes slated for Tuesday morning, March 30.
There are 18 teams competing in this 6,200-yard, par-72 event. The UALR Trojans won the inaugural event in 2007 and again last season, while the Tulsa claimed victory in 2008. Competing with the Green and White this week will be UALR, Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, , Louisiana Monroe, McNeese State, Middle Tennessee, Univ. of Missouri Kansas City, Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston State, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas Pan Am, Texas-El Paso, Troy, Western Michigan, Wichita State.
The Eagles are coming off of a 10th place finish at the Northern Migration Invitational in Florence, Ariz., March 15-17. Junior Robyn Scott finished tied for seventh place overall with a seven-over 223 (76-72-75).
