Team Awards/Accomplishments
• EMU trailed by 21 points Saturday, Oct. 16, as Ball State raced out to a 21-point lead midway through the second quarter before the Eagles mounted the biggest comeback in school history. Eastern rallied to out-score the Cardinals, 41-17 the rest of the way for the 41-38 overtime win. The only other EMU team to rally for 20 points or more was the 2000 squad that came back from a 32-12 deficit to score 27 unanswered points to defeat Northern Illinois, 39-32, Nov. 11, in Rynearson Stadium.

• The EMU offense rolled up a season's best 290 rushing yards, Oct. 23, at Virginia. Freshman running back Javonti Greene led the way with 155 yards gained on eight carries while sophomore quarterback Alex Gillett turned in 86 yards on 13 rushes. EMU's previous team best this season was a 285-yard effort in the season opener, Sept. 4, against Army.

• EMU turned in 491 yards in total offense against Western Michigan last weekend, Nov. 13, the best single-game effort this season. The Eagles had 490 yards in total offense at Ball State, Oct. 16.

• When senior tailback Dwayne Priest and sophomore quarterback Alex Gillett both ran for more than 100 yards in the 2010 season opener, Sept. 4, against Army, it was the first time that two EMU backs were over the century mark since the 2005 season when Tyler Jones and Anthony Sherrell both surpassed 100 yards. Priest ran 26 times for 142 yards and Gillett rushed 18 times for 126 in the Army game. Jones ran 12 times for 107 yards and Sherrell carried the rock 19 times for 107 yards, Oct. 22, 2005, at home against Miami.
