YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Junior-to-be Brad Larente (Cambridge, Ontario-Hespeler Secondary) turned in an eight-over par 292 (74-74-73-71) at the Canadian Tour's Jane Rogers Championship on the prestigious Greystone Golf Club in Milton, Ontario, Aug. 3-9. Competing as an amateur, Larente finished in a eight-way for 35th place in the 154-member field.

Ryan Yip took home his his first Canadian Tour title by making a birdie on the third playoff hole.The former Alberta Amateur champion headed into the playoff with Americans Jeff Cuzzort and Trey Denton after they finished regulation tied at six-under 278.

Cuzzort dropped out of the playoff on the first hole after Yip and Denton made birdies. Yip and Denton traded birdies on the second extra hole again before Yip sank a five-footer on the third to win.
