LINCOLN, Neb.—The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Colorado State University Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Nebraska University Tennis Center.

The Eagles drop to 2-6 on the season while CSU improves to 2-2 overall on the young season.

The Eagles were unable to overcome the Rams' 1-0 lead after claiming the doubles point. Xu Chang (Beijing, China) and Marcela Rivero (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) were able to take their opponents deep into three sets, but fell just shy of winning.

The Eagles will return to Michigan before hitting the road again, to take on South Florida Feb. 23.
