WESTERN MICHIGAN AT EASTERN MICHIGAN: Eastern Michigan University and Western Michigan University will be meeting for the 45th time when the two teams square off Saturday, Nov. 14, in Rynearson Stadium. The two teams split the last two games with Western recording a 31-10 win, Nov. 1, 2008, in Kalamazoo and Eastern capturing a 19-2 victory, Oct. 27, 2007, in Ypsilanti.
SENIOR DAY: The Eastern Michigan University football team team will salute 14 seniors in their final Rynearson Stadium appearance in the EMU-WMU game Saturday, Nov. 14. The complete list of seniors can be found on page four of this release.
PROMOTIONS SET FOR SEASON FINALE: The EMU-WMU football game Saturday, Nov. 14, will not only be Senior Day, but also Fan Appreciation Day. As part of the promotions for the 2009 Rynearson Stadium finale, the first 1,000 fans will receive a free cup of hot chocolate at the game. Anyone that brings a non-EMU college football ticket stub will receive a ticket for just $3 at the gate. Also, EMU students can register at the main gate for a chance to win paid credit hours of tuition and other great prizes.Group tickets are available in advance for groups of 10 or more for just $3 each. SENIOR CLOSE IT OUT: Today's game with Western Michigan University marks the final Rynearson Stadium appearance for 14 Eastern Michigan University seniors. That group of seniors has made its mark on the EMU football program as a total of 13 of those players have earned at least one start this season.
