Eagles return to action Friday, Jan. 30 at home against Wright State

MADISON, Wisc.—The Eastern Michigan University tennis team dropped its second straight match Sunday, Jan. 25, against the No. 66 University of Wisconsin, 7-0. The Eagles fall to 0-2 on the season while the Badgers even their mark at 1-1.

"I was pretty disappointed in our performance today,” said head coach Ryan Ray. “I thought Wisconsin played very well, and we didn't execute at our best.  We need to commit to get better this week and get ready for two matches at home next weekend."

EMU fell behind early, 1-0, giving up all three doubles matches and was unable to overcome the deficit in singles, losing at each flight.

The Eagles will open up the home portion of their schedule Friday, Jan. 30, hosting Wright State. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Chippewa Racquet Club.
