YPSILANTI, Mich.- The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team will look to carry the success they had at the Drake and Gina Relays (April 24-26) and head to the 23rd Annual Jesse Owens Classic May 2-3. Collegiate action begins Friday May 2 at 7:30 p.m.
The first event an EMU athlete will compete in is the 3,000-meter steeplechase, which will get underway at around 9:05 p.m. with Josh Karanja (Ottawa, Canada-Nepean) and David Brent (Monroe, Mich.-St. Mary's Catholic) representing the Green and White.
Saturday, the collegiate events will kick off at 3:30 p.m. with the long jump and then at 4 p.m. with the running of the 4x100-meter relay.
Live scoring is available for both days by clicking HERE. The meet will be televised with a tape-delay by the Big Ten Network and is schedule to air on Monday May 12 at 8 p.m.
