COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Eastern Michigan University men’s swimming and diving team fell to both Ohio State University and Michigan State University in a double dual meet at Ohio State. EMU fell to OSU by a score of 199-94 and to MSU by a score of1 73-127. EMU is now 4-3 on the year.

Derick Roe won the 50 freestyle for the Eagles and took third in the 100 freestyle. Ryan Fulkerson finished second in the 100 butterfly, with teammate Andrzej Olesinski capturing third. Mark Kurtzer finished fifth in the 200 backstroke, while Don Ellison took fourth in the 200 breaststroke. Ellison also finished runner-up in the 200 IM, with teammate Adam Wohl placing fourth.
The Eagles will be back in action Saturday, Jan. 26, when they welcome Ball State University to Jones Natatorium. The meet will be the last home meet for the Green and White and will serve as Senior Day. The meet is co-ed and will begin at 1 p.m.
